Part 3 of our 5-part Artist Preview. Today we are honored to introduce artist, Meredith McPherson. The work shown above is one of four beautiful submissions that can be seen here in our preview gallery of work.

We asked Meredith to share a few words about why she decided to participate in the Greater Chaco Art Auction and Benefit:

“My personal job as a visual artist is to create artworks that address social issues and send a voice of positive change and healing through universal symbolism.
Chinese grand master calligrapher Liang Zongheng, with whom I apprenticed in Nanjing China, asked me ‘to share the ancient sacred symbols with the people.’ The Chaco Benefit is one of many ways in which to respect Master Liang’s wishes.”
